Tuberosity Repair for Fractures
Tuberosity Repair
for Hemiarthroplasty for Proximal Humeral fractures
L Funk, 2004
The most essential part of Shoulder Hemiarthroplasty for fractures is the repair of the greater and lesser tuberosities around the prosthesis and to the humeral shaft. It can be a difficult technique to learn. This is a series of animations of the technique I use and is a simplified version of that described by Bouileu et al. for the Tournier Aquelis fracture Prosthesis.
