Watanabe Shoulder Arthroscopy Workshop
Location: Newcastle Surgical Training Centre, Freeman Hospital, Newcastle
Date: 18/11/2009 - 19/11/2009
Description
The Watanabe Club is an informal nonaffiliated group of dedicated shoulder arthroscopists who are committed to developing training in shoulder arthroscopy in the UK.
The Diagnostic and Therapeutic course includes detailed information on the principles and philosophy of shoulder arthroscopy, which will be of particular value to those surgeons and trainees undertaking shoulder arthroscopy for the first time.
The Reconstructive course will be of value to those with some experience in shoulder arthroscopy. Please note that delegates should preferably have attended the Diagnostic and Therapeutic course and/or have reasonable clinical and practical experience in diagnostic shoulder arthroscopy and simple arthroscopic procedures before attending the Reconstructive course.
Delegates will gain handson experience in practical techniques using models and cadaver material, and are encouraged to bring case studies on disc for discussion. The high proportion of faculty members to delegates (1:2) will ensure direct supervision and interaction. Both courses will involve lectures, models and cadaveric work. There are only 20 delegate places on each module so delegates are invited to register early to avoid disappointment.
This course does not allow you to register online.
You will be able to register for this course between 1/03/2009 and 17/11/2009
